Church Tithes Register & Financial Reporting Dashboard

Objective

To develop a structured Excel-based system for recording church membership information and tithe payments while automatically generating management summaries and a visual dashboard. The solution replaces fragmented or manual records with a centralised database that makes it easier to track contributions by member, month, church section and currency.

Expected Outcome

A user-friendly Excel tithe management system that allows church administrators to maintain a member register, capture individual tithe transactions and automatically produce contribution reports. Once a Member Number is entered, the system retrieves the member's details automatically, reducing repetitive data entry and potential errors. Management can monitor total contributions by currency, monthly collection trends, contributions by church section, individual member contributions, transaction volumes and active membership from the reporting and dashboard sections.

This project demonstrates how Excel can be transformed from a basic spreadsheet into a practical financial record-management and reporting system. It reduces manual administration, improves the consistency and traceability of tithe records, and gives church leadership timely financial information for monitoring and decision-making.
